The Assignment Manager will report directly to Barton Associates’ Director of National Accounts.  In our business, when an assignment is made, multiple departments have responsibilities to complete crucial tasks in order for a provider to start.  The primary function of this role is to work as a liason with all necessary teams to ensure an efficient process.

Responsibilities

  1. Facilitate the on-boarding process for locum tenens providers (MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, Dentists)  from the point an assignment is made, through the start of the assignment, and potentially beyond.  
  2. Act as a liaison between Barton’s Physician Recruiters, Account Managers, Credentialing, Licensing, and Travel departments.
  3. Ensure the timely completion of all paperwork to meet the agreed upon start dates as well as to ensure a smooth on-boarding process for both the provider and the client.
  4. On-going management of longer-term assignments to ensure we fulfill original lengths of assignment and work to extend those assignments.
  5. Improving the overall quality of Barton’s service.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  2. Detail oriented
  3. Organized
  4. Strong personality
  5. A Leader/Driver
  6. Works well with others and must be comfortable giving direction to those who are not direct reports
  7. Good customer service and problem solving skills
  8. Computer savvy, knowledge of Google Products, Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, etc.
  9. Ability to handle a demanding workload
