The Human Resources Benefits and Administrative Manager holds a supervisory-level position in the Human
Resources Department. The Benefits and Administrative Manager will be responsible for the administration and
maintenance of employee benefit programs, including, but not limited to, employee health and wellness programs;
FMLA, ADA and other applicable leave; various Human Resources training programs; employee activities; etc. As
part of the duties, the Benefits and Administrative Manager ensures that the department is following documentation
and verification rules on forms filed by employees, such as tax forms and benefit forms. The Benefits and
Administrative Manager also works closely with the Human Resources Manager to ensure their vision of
management and employee behavior is followed throughout the organization; they must maintain means of
communication (newsletters, and emails, for example) to facilitate this. An additional role for the HR Supervisor
will be to supervise and manage the Human Resources Administrator, including daily supervision and direction,
periodic review and evaluation of their performance, ensure work is delivered in a timely manner according to
company standards.


  • Assist in implementing and administering HR policies and procedures in accordance with the organization's overall goals and are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements and laws.
  • Administer, establish, and maintain employee benefit policies, procedures, programs,
  • Supervise HR Administrator in supporting the day to day operations of the human resources department.
  • Assist in hiring, training and reviewing performance of direct reports.
  • Proactive review of current processes and policies to ensure they remain current
  • Anticipate the future needs of the department in accordance with company vision and direction.


  • Bachelor degree in a business-related field with an emphasis on human relations or personnel management.
  • Postgraduate education in Human Resources or other related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources and benefits administration.
  • Experience using ADP and various ADP products.
  • Experience with HRIS transition process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Proactive and forward thinking.
  • Experience with basic computer functions.
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting.
  • Ability to manage and supervise direct reports.
