    The Provider Development Advisor will report to the Manager of Program Relations + Provider Development and work to improve the organization’s market position by fostering relationships with recent graduates of residency, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, and dentistry training programs. This role will work collaboratively with the Program Relations team with key goals to build relationships with new healthcare providers to ultimately place them in short and long-term temporary positions via Barton's healthcare staffing operation. This role will be in our Worcester, MA office.

    Responsibilities

    • Become a subject matter expert on the temporary healthcare staffing industry (locum tenens)
    • Work collaboratively with Program Relations to identify, support, and ultimately place new healthcare provider graduates into temporary roles
    • Educate, guide, and advise new healthcare providers as they enter the locum tenens market
    • Develop a professional relationship with the recruited providers and gain an understanding of their qualifications, certifications, and desired types of opportunities
    • Submit providers to appropriate assignments based on fit, interest, and availability
    • Maintain communication and provide quality customer services to providers on assignment
