    The Program Relations Consultant will report to the Program Relations + Provider Development Manager and work to improve the organization’s market position by developing strategic relationships with various residency, fellowship, and advanced practitioner academic training programs.

     

    This role will be the external face of the organization, key goals to build powerful relationships, identify business opportunities, and maintain an extensive knowledge of current market conditions. This role will actively give presentations to these programs and work to create a strong talent pipeline of recent physician and advanced practitioner graduates.

    Responsibilities

    • Foster relationships with various residency, fellowship, and advanced practitioner academic training programs. This will include contacting programs, identifying key program contacts, building relationships, and hosting presentations, career fairs, webinars, networking events, and more
    • Present relevant information to these medical programs in an effort to educate potential candidates on locum tenens opportunities and to obtain new candidates
    • Create a pipeline of recent graduate leads from these programs for Barton’s provider development team
    • Attend trade shows as needed
    • Others projects and tasks as assigned by the Program Relations + Provider Development Manager

    Qualifications

    • Energetic and strong interpersonal skills
    • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
    • 1-3 years’ experience in outside sales or recruiting or other client-facing role
    • Strong sense of self-motivation and able to work autonomously with a dispersed team
    • Advanced organization and prioritization skills
    • Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills
    • Superior customer service skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
    • Adaptability and flexibility to support the organization’s growth
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Apps
    • Ability to multi-task in a high-stress environment
    • Ability to maintain a robust travel schedule (approximately 40% travel)
