    We are seeking a Interactive Designer to join a creative and dynamic marketing team, where you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the company’s success across a variety of different projects and platforms. We are seeking a passionate designer that values problem-solving and a creative process, based on collaboration and direct communication. You will work closely with our in-house graphic designer, content team, internal stakeholders and external web development partners to develop digital solutions that further Barton’s business ventures, including three subsidiary brands. The ideal candidate will have web and graphic design experience, and thrives in a quick-changing, deadline-driven environment.

     

    The Interactive Designer will report directly to Barton Associates’ Director of Marketing.

    Responsibilities

    • Evolve the existing brand identity and explore new ways to present Barton Associates and associated brands.
    • Lead design and development of client-facing emails and landing pages through Marketo, Hubspot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
    • Collaborate with the content marketing team to tell stories through creative infographics, engaging white papers, interactive tools and quizzes.
    • Responsible for UX/UI design of Barton’s websites and creating new interactive tools.
    • Grow into a position of internal ownership, responsible for guiding the visual and creative direction of the Barton Associates and related brands’ online presence.

    Qualifications

    • Degree in digital design, interactive design, or related field.
    • 1 to 2 years of experience in web/interactive design, graphic design, content development and/or multimedia production.
    • Strong knowledge and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS. Javascript knowledge a plus.
    • Experience managing websites through a CMS.
    • Craft and/or Wordpress CMS experience a plus.
    • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and priorities.
    • Enthusiastic work ethic and the ability to thrive in a high-tempo environment.
    • Experience working and collaborating within a small team.
    • Video production and photography experience a plus.
    • Motion graphics design a plus.
