With our massive and continued expansions, our Administration department continues to grow with the rest of our company. We’re looking for a Salesforce Developer to join the Business Solutions team at Barton Associates. The Business Solutions team is responsible for automating business processes across various systems managed at Barton. As a Salesforce Developer, you will report to the Salesforce Architect and play an important role in providing support to users, developing new features and maintaining our instance of Salesforce.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare design documentation before starting development  
  • Perform code reviews with the development team 
  • Develop high quality code with supporting unit tests
  • Administer, customize and configure Salesforce.com using Visualforce pages, Apex Triggers, Javascript, HTML, CSS, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, Process Builders, Workflows Rules, Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Reports, Dashboards, Objects, Fields, Record Types, Validation Rules, etc. 
  • Audit, identify, and resolve data integrity issues using tools such as duplication management tool and Dataloader
  • Responsible for general health and security of all orgs of Salesforce.com 
  • Help define technical standards and guidelines for Salesforce.com

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – this role is heavily collaborative.
  • 3+ years of total Salesforce development experience is required
  • Prior experience as a Salesforce Developer is required
  • Hands on experience with Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, web services, JAVA, CSS, HTML, Lightning Web Components, BitBucket (or similar repository) is required
  • Prior experience with any of the Integration tools (Boomi, Informatica, etc.), Marketing applications (Marketo, Hubspot, Marketing Cloud etc.), ERP systems (GP, Sage, NetSuite, etc.) is strongly preferred
  • Must be Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I 
  • Knowledge of security concepts (authentication, encryption, SSL, single-sign on, etc.) is required
  • A CRM system wizard, particularly with regards to Salesforce.com
  • Travel required (10%)
