The Team

The Marketing team is looking for a natural storyteller who knows what resonates with audiences and can stay ahead of trends to join as a content manager. In this role, you will be responsible for writing high impact pieces that promote our brands. You will own the management of the content planning for our 3 brands, ensuring content is insightful, useful, relevant, engaging, and ultimately more helpful than any other content online.

 

Your content plan should be rooted in SEO best practices with a goal of reaching new medical providers and/or clients every single day. We are looking for someone who has experience building a complex content strategy that focuses on the creation of immersive online content that ties back to the voice of each unique brand.

 

In this role, you will also manage the PR initiatives for the brands including writing and publishing press releases and will manage the promotion of the articles on our websites and across social media channels. This role works closely with the social media and design team members.

Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain our highest traffic and lead generating landing pages and articles
  • Understand the ins and outs of the healthcare staffing industry including staying abreast of changes in the market place to capitalize on new content opportunities.
  • Create and maintain content calendars for our brands ensuring that content aims to increase traffic to the websites. 
  • Write new blogs, landing pages, and press releases for 3 brands.
  • Update title tags, headers, meta descriptions and more to match SEO best practices and increase traffic
  • Collaborate with the graphic designer on creative to create rich visuals (infographics, data visualizations, illustrations, etc.) that convey a clear story and isn’t just for “fluff”
  • Manage and execute on internal and external interviews to create unique content
  • Manage SEO dashboards and reporting in order to speak confidently to content success when presenting to senior leadership

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of content writing experience, with a focus on SEO
  • 1-2 years of experience with PR
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be seriously considered
  • Ability to manage as well as execute
  • Innovation; focused on improving, growing, and coming up with new ways to create content and to share that information
  • Initiative;  ambitious go-getter who takes initiative without being asked and over-delivers on your promises
  • Teamwork & positive attitude; working collaboratively with a positive and can-do approach to opportunities and challenges to get the right things done quickly
  • Written and verbal communication skills. Able to confidently convey your ideas to upper management and your team. This is a small team; communication is vital to our success.
