The Travel Associate will work alongside the other members of the travel team to manage and oversee travel arrangements for the company’s providers and internal employees. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter looking for an entry-level position that will involve administrative duties.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and book travel for Barton’s internal employees
  • Set up housing for providers’ long term assignments including lease/rental agreements
  • Work alongside travel administrators to book travel reservations for physicians and nurse practitioners (locum tenens) who are placed on travelling assignments throughout the country
  • Coordinate travel schedules with recruiting staff to ensure all locum tenens’ travel needs are fulfilled
  • Summarize and communicate travel itineraries for physicians and nurse practitioners in advance of assignment
  • Compile and track supporting expense documentation for all reservations
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing deadlines
  • Strong sense of urgency and customer service
  • Ability to perform all functions with a positive and customer service oriented attitude
  • Excellent phone, computer, and people skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment with ability to multitask
  • Strong work ethic
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Determination & initiative to achieve objectives and ability to overcome obstacles
