Barton Associates is seeking a Data Analyst to support business intelligence initiatives, enhance data quality, and explore AI and machine learning applications. This role involves working with stakeholders to develop reports, optimize data processes, and integrate new data sources, contributing to data-driven decision-making in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable business intelligence through reports and dashboards.
  • Explore AI and Machine Learning applications using internal and third-party data sources to enhance Barton’s business operations.
  • Support data quality initiatives, including identifying and cleansing inconsistent or non-conforming data.
  • Assist in the administration and optimization of data warehouse and business intelligence platforms.
  • Facilitate the integration of new data sources into the data warehouse to enhance data availability and usability.
  • Contribute to the automation of data processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and a proactive, innovative mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with SQL and/or MySQL for querying and data manipulation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and knowledge of data science best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with AI and Machine Learning concepts, applications, and implementation.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Strong data manipulation skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing is a plus.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
